About True North VBS & STREAM Camp
This past week, children embarked on an unforgettable Alaskan adventure during True North VBS & STREAM Camp. Throughout the week, campers discovered that Jesus is our faithful guide in a wild world and learned that they can always trust him to lead them, protect them, and show them the way.
During the morning VBS program, students explored Bible stories, music, games, crafts, and faith-filled lessons centered on the theme of following Jesus as their True North. In the afternoons, campers participated in STREAM Camp, where they engaged in hands-on experiences integrating Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Through creative projects, engineering challenges, scientific investigations, claymation, and collaborative problem-solving activities, students explored the wonders of God's creation while developing critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills.
Designed for students from Pre-K through Middle School.
Memorable creations and experiences
Our VBS week was packed with engaging activities that sparked creativity and reinforced valuable lessons. Children enjoyed planting seeds, making beautiful butterfly windchimes, and participating in exciting outdoor games. They crafted shields of courage, experimented with fizzy playdoh, and created "Jesus Loves You" spirit clips. Fun sponge races, discussions about the Saints, and reading scripture were also highlights of their journey.
